The Field House

Dedicated to Steve Creason the fearless Baden-Powell Director of 1994

by: Joe Fox and Adam Gray

Tune: Titanic

Oh, it was sad, so sad

Oh, it was sad, so sad

It was sad when the field house went down

To the bottom of the hill...

Hatchets and spades

It was the end of all their days

It was sad when the field house went down

Oh they built that field house

Way up high upon the hill

They said "Lord we have a field house

And you know we always will"

But Steve's almighty hand

Said the field house would not stand

It was sad when the field house went down

Just behind the office

With the stomper in reverse

Little Stephen looked behind him

And he began to curse

And too this day he'll swear

The field house was not there

It was sad when the field house went down

It was in the afternoon

About four o'clock

When the field house's walls

began to roll and rock

Oh, Kevin turned and cried

He said "Creason's gonna die"

It was sad when the field house went down

Jeff peered around a wall

Just to see the field-house fall

As he heard the guilty Creason

Give a woeful call

Oh, he knew he made a slip

To send Creason on a trip

It was sad when the field house went down

Kevin stood right by

With a tear drop in his eye

As he watched the last wheel barrel

Turn on to it's side

Oh, he knocked Steve on his back

And said "Scout and Max attack"

It was sad when the field house went down

Oh they built another field house

Upon the very spot

The loft was strongly braced

The rest, although was not

Then someone gave a sneeze

And it blew down with the breeze

It was great when the field house went down

The moral of this story

As you can plainly see

Know what gear your in

And always check and see

If you don't for any reason

Just don't give the keys to Creason

It was sad when the field house went down
